Size Reduction Equipments
Hammer Crusher (Screen Type Equipment) is employed to disintegrate almost everything, from paper products to limestone and spices. Traditional disintegrators are technologically replaced by these modern and highly versatile machines, having total flexibility. Combination of different hammer styles, liner plates, sieve inserts and wear resistance technology offer almost unlimited possibilities of crushing lumpy, bulky, irregularly shaped, hard & fibrous materials, into coarse to medium fine powders.
Materials enter at periphery of swing hammers undergoing size reduction along liner plates before discharging through perforated sieve at bottom. Replaceable bar type grate is available for specific applications.
Universal Mill (Screen Type Equipment) is recommended for medium to fine grinding of soft to semi hard materials. Appropriately sized mill chamber prevents build-up of deposits and blockage of the mill body by fatty & sticky products. Cool powdering operation retains vital properties like colour, taste, flavour etc. to its optimum level. Changeable grinding elements offer versatility to cater applications like pulverizing, defiberizing, wet grinding, mixing, deaglomeration, dispersion, hot air drying etc. This is of paramount importance to the user.
Centrally fed material gets powdered step by step between rotor and stator, moving radially outward for a bottom discharge through sieve. Clearance, configuration & grinding element design determine end results.
Mikro Pulverizer ( Screen Type Equipment ), conventional in design, has itâ€™s own
advantages for various applications. A build-in water circulation jacket retains grinding temperature lower than otherwise. Design provides for admitting extra air during grinding to facilitate cool operation. Soft to medium hard materials are quickly pulverized to fine powder. Improved mixing and dispersion are added advantages of such mills. Quite popularly, it is also called high speed close tolerance Hammer Mill.
Uniformly fed material undergoes a complex grinding force through attrition between liner plate & hammer tip, impact of high speed hammers and collision between particles. Bottom sieve controls the particle size.
Ultra Fine Mill
Ultra Fine Mill ( Screenless Equipment ) are precisely built for grinding of soft to
medium hard materials into amazingly fine powder. Built-in water circulation jacket retains grinding temperature lower than otherwise, permitting handling of some heat sensitive applications. Design permits ease of cleaning & quick change over of products, thus savings through a minimum of downtime.
Feed is controlled via screw feeder. The air swept product passes through a complex grinding contour where attrition force combined with turbo (jet) effect ensures ultra fine particle size. The annular gap plate controls the flow of material through the Mill. The powder is discharged at the bottom opening, for collection. Various options available to meet users need.
Air Swept Mill
Air Swept Mill (Screenless Equipment) are recommended for micro fine pulverizing of soft to medium hard , fibrous and slightly moist materials. Mill is uneconomical where frequent changeover of product is required and material is abrasive. Such Impact Mills efficiently handle fibrous materials and products having similar structure. Water circulation jacket is an optional feature, apart from different styles of grinding elements.
Axially fed material is swept across the periphery of hammers and whizzer type retainer plate. Grinding action takes place between high speed hammers and serrated liners. Micro fine powder is discharged through a built-in blower to a cyclone separator, coupled with a dust filter unit. Mills are supplied with pneumatic conveying system.
Air Classifier Mill
Air Classifier Mill ( Screenless Equipment ) are ideally designed for micro fine particle size. High air through put, unique multi-tip rotor and serrated liners create numerous air-whirls, turbulence and progressive grinding. The direction and speed of particle is suddenly changed within extremely short period, resulting into turbulent collision between particles. This ensures micronized fine & free-flowing product. Air classifier controls the top cut size.
The great turbulence and high air volume ensure a minimum temperature increase facilitating handling of heat sensitive materials. The classifier retains coarser particles, while suction fan discharge very fine powder to the cyclone separator and very fine dust is collected in the bag filter unit. All mills are supplied with pneumatic conveying system.
Plastic Grinding Mill
Plastic Grinding Mill (Screen Type Equipment) is suitable for heat-sensitive elastic polymers which are handled with ease for an excellent powder characteristic like controlled top cut-size, particle size distribution, bulk density and dispersion quality to suit end use.
Polyethelene materials, applications are Master Batch, Roto-moulding, Wire Coating, Textile Coating / Micro Dot requirements. Uniform size of granules / pallets (no pre-cuts or shreds) upto 6 mm, are subjected to gradual grinding together with water jacketed cooling / chilled air cooling for cool powder with optimum capacity.
Powdering solutions available for other polymers like Polystyrene, PVC, PVA, etc. For difficult to grind polymers under normal conditions, Chilled air systems are available.
