Chadda and Associates was established as an Architectural firm providing consultancy in 1965 by Shri V. N. Chadda after retiring from N.C.D.C. He was a post graduate in Architecture from London. To his credit were a number of commercial and residential projects including Firayalal’s, Asia’s largest Mall at a time when the concept of Mall was hardly known in the growing economy of the 60’s. He was joined by his sons Rajesh and Rajiv, Architects from Kharagpur and Bombay, taking the firm to new and unprecedented heights.
