It saw its origin in Kottayam Kerala, where Sojan and Mercy a dynamic and enterprising husband-wife duo stepped into the hospitality business with small outdoor catering parties. The first Kumarakom Restaurant started in Chennai in the year 2001 and has grown to 9 branches with outlets in Chennai, Dubai and Bangalore.
