Our cardiac unit, Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases(ICVD), is capable of handling all types of simple and complex cardiac diseases both in paediatrics and adult age groups. We take pride in the fact that the first heart transplant surgery in India was performed here in the year 1995. The other units of MMM such as the Institute of Reproductive Medicine & Women’s Health (IRM), Institute of Kidney, Urology and Organ transplantation (IKUOT) and the Institute of Gastroenterology & Liver Diseases are well known centres in the country with latest equipment and a dedicated team of professionals.
