The St. Thomas group of Schools had its humble beginning in 1986 at Sahibabad in the premises of St. Thomas Orthodox Church. By the immeasurable grace of the Almighty, the St.Thomas Church Society could edify another temple of learning at Indirapuram as the extension of its education venture. The dream came true in 2000 in the form of St. Thomas School, Indirapuram, Ghaziabad. The School got affiliated to the CBSE. In 2003 for the Secondary level and the CBSE granted the Senior Secondary status in 2005 (vide affiliation No. 2130572). The majestic school building, an architectural marvel, was inaugurated in 2005. The president of the Society is His Holiness Baselios Mar Thomas Paulose -II, the Catholicos of the East, and the Vice President is His Grace Dr. Youhanon Mar Demetrios, the Metropolitan of the Diocese of Delhi. The overall administration of the school is vested in the Governing Board (an elected body constituted by the Society).
