The city had its fair share of Chinese restaurants, be it the thriving China town or other vibrant food joints dotting the city. However an authentic Pan Asian restaurant, especially one serving Japanese cuisine outside five star ambience was non- existent.
Precisely for this reason, The Wall came up at upscale South Kolkata locality in 2007, with a menu personally chosen and supervised by chef Sushanta. The restaurant serves sushi, sashimi, steamboat, along with the very best of Pan Asian delicacies. Even the Chinese cuisine served is a class apart at The Wall. The interiors are done tastefully, with an atrium and low seating arrangement.
