New Vision Laser Centers has trained over 400 ophthalmologists to perform LASIK. Our Courses are conducted by our Clinical Director, Dr. Rupal Shah, who has personally performed over 25000 laser refractive surgery procedures. New Vision Laser Centers is equipped with state of the art surgical equipment, including the Carl Zeiss VisuMax Femtosecond Laser, the Carl Zeiss Meditec MEL 80 Excimer Laser, the BD K-4000 and the Hansatome Microkeratomes. This is complemented by state of the art diagnostic equipment, including the WASCA Wavefront Analyzer from Carl Zeiss, the B & L Orbscan, the Atlas 9000 topography system from Zeiss, the Reichert Ocular Response Analyzer, and the Stereo Optical Functional Vision Analyzer. New Vision Laser Centers offers courses in both Femto-LASIK and Standard Microkeratome LASIK. We offer both Personalized training (one-on-one with Dr. Rupal Shah) as well as 3-Day Intensive LASIK Courses in a group setting. Both types of training involve a mix of theory and live surgical experience. New Vision Laser Centers treats training as a core activity, and makes all efforts to make trainees feel comfortable in our clinics. We offer residential accommodation to our trainees. Recently, we also commissioned a trainee lounge, which is fully equipped with fast internet access, a variety of different ophthalmic journals and several reference books on LASIK and Cataract Surgery. We also offer Phaco Training through our sister Clinic LaseRx/Hitech.
